Sarah McGrail – Grad Dip Phys MCSP MSMA Chartered Physiotherapist
Sarah qualified in 1984 and after gaining a solid grounding in the NHS around Sheffield and Chesterfield, soon found that her own experiences in rowing drew her to the specialist interest of sports medicine and private practice.
Sarah established the Rossendale Physiotherapy and Sports Injuries Clinic in 1989 over in Lancashire. She has recently moved back to Yorkshire and is delighted to be part of the Wetherby Physiotherapy team. She brings with her a wealth of expertise not only in sports medicine, where she has worked closely with the British Olympic Association looking after Great Britain Teams in training and competition for over 17 years, but she has a special interest in the treatment of migraine headaches. She has been involved with research in conjunction with the University of Manchester for over 5 years into the physiotherapy treatment of migraine headaches.
Experienced in treating all ages of patients Sarah can help senior citizens recover from joint replacement or other orthopaedic surgery and can treat all sorts of age related aches and pains. Being a Mum herself she is also experienced in the treatment of children and is Consulting Physiotherapist to several dance schools.
